'Safer Journeys to School consultation sets out proposals for targeted approach to improve the safety of those getting on or off buses' -Cllr Christopher Jackson.
Derry City and Strabane District councillor Christopher Jackson (Sinn Fein) has called on the public to share their views on improving safety for passengers getting on or off buses.
On Thursday, Infrastructure Minister, Liz Kimmins, launched the consultation as she continues working towards making it illegal to overtake and pass stationary buses.
“The Safer Journeys to School consultation sets out proposals that look at a more targeted approach to improve the safety of those getting on or off buses, particularly children," said Cllr Jackson.
