The late Amy Doherty
Detectives from the PSNI’s Major Investigation Team investigating the murder of Amy Doherty on Saturday, March 21 in Derry have charged a man to court.
The 30-year-old has been charged with murder, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, and possession of a Class A controlled drug.
He is due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court via video link this afternoon, Friday, March 27.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
