Foyleside announces arrival of new Superdrug Flagship store

One of the UK’s leading health and beauty retailers, Superdrug, is set to open a new flagship store at Foyleside Shopping Centre in autumn 2026, marking a significant retail development for the city centre.

The arrival of Superdrug is being described as an exciting new chapter for Foyleside, bringing a significantly expanded health and beauty offering to the North West. The new flagship is expected to deliver a modern retail concept, with a larger product range, immersive beauty experiences and a complete new shop fit.

Flagship Superdrug stores across the UK are known for offering an enhanced beauty destination, featuring some of the most talked-about brands in skincare, cosmetics and wellness. Customers can expect a vibrant environment dedicated to discovering the latest trends, expert advice and a wider range of health and beauty products.

It is also anticipated that the new store could include Superdrug’s popular Beauty Playground concept, an interactive space designed to showcase the newest and most exciting brands making waves in the beauty world.

The new store will occupy the current unit of Monsoon and Accessorize, with the existing stores expected to close later this year as part of the transition.

Monsoon has been part of the Foyleside retail offering since 2014, having taken over the space previously occupied by Dorothy Perkins. Over the past decade it has been a familiar presence for shoppers visiting the centre and is currently exploring the potential for a relocation within Foyleside Shopping Centre.

Speaking about the development, a spokesperson for Foyleside said the centre continually evolves to ensure it offers the best possible mix of brands and experiences for shoppers.

The new Superdrug flagship is expected to open in Autumn 2026 following redevelopment of the unit.

The development will not impact the existing Superdrug store in the city, which will continue to operate as normal.
