Mark Brady, 33 Tranarossan Avenue, Derry

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Mark Brady, March 12 2026, suddenly at his home, 33 Tranarossan Avenue, MARK, beloved husband of Sharleen, loving father of Ben and Cara, dear son of Helen and the late Eddie, cherished brother of Nicola, Allison and Laura-Jayne, son-in-law of Martin and Rosaleen Temple. Dearly loved and will be sadly missed by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and the wider family circle friends and neighbours. Mark will be reposing at his mother Helen’s home, 24 Gweebarra Parky. House Private From 10:30pm To 10:30am. Funeral leaving there on Monday, March 16 at 9:20am to Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty for Requiem Mass at 10:00am. Interment afterwards in the City Cemetery. Sacred Heart Of Jesus have mercy on his soul. Our Lady Of Knock intercede for him.

 

John Joe Doherty, 52 Edenreagh Road, Eglinton

The death has taken place of the late John Joe Doherty, March 12 2026, beloved husband of the late Margaret, 52 Edenreagh Road, Eglinton, loving father of Martin, Paul, Nicola and Jonathan, father-in-law of Nigel, much loved grandfather of Holly, Nicole, Sophia-Rae and Lysandra and dear brother of Harry, Cormac, Con, Neil, Kathleen, Margaret, Sadie and the late Willie and Columba. House private for family and close friends only please. Funeral from his home on Sunday at 9.20am for 10o'clock funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, Tamnaherin. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on his soul.

 

Liam Doherty, 300 Tamnaherin Road, Cross

Funeral arrangements for the late Liam Doherty, March 12 2026, died peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, beloved husband of Anne, loving father of John, Claire, Pauline and Brian, father-in-law of Louise, Ciaran, Peter and Hemaxi, a devoted grandfather and dear brother of John, Dan and the late Harry. Liam will be reposing in his home, 300 Tamnaherin Road, Cross. Funeral from there on Sunday at 9.20am for 10o’clock funeral Mass in St Mary’s Church, Ardmore. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family time please from 10.00pm to 12noon. Family flowers only please. Michael Havord, 10 Brickfield Court, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Havord, peacefully at Culmore Manor Care Home on March 12 2026. Late of 10 Brickfield Court. May he rest in peace. Beloved husband of the late Alice. Devoted father of Marie, Karen, Michaela, John and Alice. Dearest father-in-law of Sean, Marty, Fiona and the late Roy. Loving Bampy to all of his much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Michael’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 10 Brickfield Court. Funeral leaving from there on Monday, March 16 at 9:20am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Ann Murphy (née McGuinness), 44 Knockalla Park, Derry

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Ann Murphy (née McGuinness), peacefully at Altnagelvin Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on March 13 2026. Late of 44 Knockalla Park. May she rest in peace. Beloved wife of the late Charles. Devoted mother of Gerard, Siobhan, Charles, Kevin, Eamon, Jamie, Chloe and the late Damian. Loving granny to all of her much loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dearest sister of Harry, Martina, Paul, Sharon, Michael and the late Gerard and Sean. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of her wider family circle, friends and neighbours. Ann’s remains will be reposing at her late home, 44 Knockalla Park from 11am today (Saturday, March 14). Funeral leaving from there on Monday, March 16 at 10:20am for 11.00am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Galliagh. Lewis William (Lewy) McGonigle, Lilac Avenue, Limavady

It is with deep regret we announce the passing of Lewis William (Lewy) McGonigle, Suddenly Passed away on March 12 2026 in Las Vegas. Much loved son of William and Karen, Loving brother of Lucy (Niall) and the late Emma. Late of Lilac Avenue, Limavady. The family ask the home to remain strictly private just at this time (close family and friends only please). Funeral arrangements will follow. Lewis will be always loved and sadly missed by his entire family circle.

 

Norman Reynolds, 35 Drumachose Park, Limavady

The death has occurred of the late Norman Reynolds, Passed away at his home 35 Drumachose Park on Thursday, March 12 2026. Son of the late Norman and Sadie. Loving Husband of Eileen, Dear Father of David (Claire) Johnathan (Robyn). Devoted Grandfather of Caitlin and Callan. Brother, Uncle and Friend. All welcome to call pay their respects to Norman on Sunday evening from 6.00pm to 8.00pm at Browns Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held in Browns Funeral Home on Monday at 11.00am followed by burial in Christ Church Burial ground at 12noon Refreshments will be served in Christ Church hall following the committal. No flowers please donations if desired and cheques payable to Christ Church Building Fund and forwarded to Browns Funeral Directors, 21 Aghanloo Ind Est Aghanloo Road, Limavady. Will be sadly missed by the entire Family circle.

 

Eleanor Cochrane Torrens (née Ussher), 167 Carrowreagh Road, Garvagh

The death has taken place of the late Eleanor Cochrane Torrens (née Ussher), March 13 2026, peacefully at Causeway Hospital, formerly of 167 Carrowreagh Road, Garvagh. Dearly loved wife of the late John, loving mother of David, Margaret, Hazel, Elizabeth, Ussher, James and Sara, mother-in-law of Rosemary, Dave, Ken, Trevor, Caroline, Jane and Raymond and a much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law and aunt. Family and friends are welcome to call at her son Ussher’s home, 159 Carrowreagh Road, Garvagh on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 1.00pm onwards. Private family committal, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in Moneydig Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, March 17 2026 at 2.00pm. Family flowers only please. Lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.” Psalm 116 v 15.
