The Stormont Department of Infrastructure has been urged to "carry out a programme of remarking the existing lines of parking bays" in Derry City Centre.
The call has come from Derry City and Strabane District councillor Aisling Hutton (Sinn Féin).

“I have been contacted by a number of motorists concerned about the state of the parking bay road markings across the city centre. These include disabled parking bays, taxi and loading bays," said Cllr Hutton.
“Those people who have contacted me have said in several parts of the city centre it’s hard to distinguish which bay is which and no one wants to unwittingly get a parking ticket.
