A man has been given a 'strict warning' following a breach of bail at Derry Magistrate's Court.

Bryan Osuere (31) of Spencer Road in Derry was in court following a breach of his bail conditions, namely his curfew and no alcohol conditions that had been set in a previous court appearance.

A police officer said that when tested the defendant gave a reading of 56mgs with 35mgs being the legal limit.

Bail was not objected to and Deputy District Judge Noel Dunlop warned him that another breach would lead to imprisonment.

Osuere will appear again on December 11.
