Derry City and Strabane District Council have confirmed that all cemeteries within the district will revert to winter opening hours from next weekend (Saturday, November 1).
This change is part of the annual schedule as the days become shorter.
Cemetery opening times will continue at 8.00am, however they will close at the earlier time of 4.30pm daily until the end of March.
The public is reminded to be mindful of the earlier closing time when visiting graves, particularly as the clocks go back and evenings become darker.
