Derry-Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign pickets McDonald's.
Members of the Derry - Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (DIPSC) have held a 'Boycott Genocide' picket outside the Strand Road branch of McDonald's in the city.
The picket, which was monitored by members of the PSNI and caused tailbacks, took place on Friday evening.
Speaking to The Derry News, DIPSC spokesperson Chris McKeown said its aim was to "try and spread the word to the people who were coming to McDonald's, they were lining the pockets of the McDonald's Corporation, which is feeding the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF)".

"The IOF are killing babies in Palestine and we are asking people to support local food outlets instead. Local companies are a good alternative because they aren't funding a genocide," he added.
"We are using a bit of disruption - a blockade - to try and get the message across."
