Northlands Addiction Treatment Centre
Derry's Northland Addiction Centre is set to benefit from a financial windfall.
Northlands has been presented with a fund of €15,000 under the AIB Community €1 Million Fund.
Earlier this year, AIB asked its customers, the wider public, and staff to nominate registered charities, that connect with causes that matter most to them and their communities, in the AIB Community €1 Million Fund.
Northlands offer a range of services designed to support individuals and families from across the whole of Northern Ireland, struggling with substance abuse and alcohol dependence and gambling addiction.
Welcoming the news, Northlands posted on their social media: “We are delighted to announce that Northlands Addiction Centre has been awarded £15,000 from the 2025 AIB Community €1 Million Fund.

“A huge thank you to AIB UK, their customers, and the public for nominating and supporting us.
“This funding will make a real difference in helping us continue our mission to support individuals, families, and communities affected by addiction.
“Together, we can create hope and lasting change.”
