Police appeal after vehicle stolen during Derry burglary

Police are appealing for information after a car was stolen during a burglary in Derry.

The burglary occurred in the Templegrove area of the city around 4.00am on Thursday, May 29 2025.

A PSNI spokesperson said: “Someone has entered a property and has taken key’s to a vehicle and then made off in it.

The vehicle is a red Hyundai i20 which was last seen heading towards the Waterside.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time and noticed the vehicle or anyone acting suspiciously. We would be keen for anyone who may have dashcam footage that could assist with enquiries.
