Anonymity refused for Derry man facing drug and driving charges

A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today on drug and driving charges. 

Dean Hutton (30) of Ebrington Oaks in Derry was charged with possessing cocaine on August 5 last year.

He was also charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and Pregablin on dates between February 24 and August 5 last year.

Hutton was also charged with taking a vehicle without permission, driving while disqualified and having no insurance on August 5 last.

A prosecutor said that a full file in the case would not be ready until June 9.

An application for anonymity was refused as the defendant's address was outside the area of the immediate threat.

Hutton will appear again on May 14.
