Annie McWilliams, from Kilrea who died as result of road traffic collision
Tributes have been paid to a young woman who died in a car crash in County Derry yesterday (Thursday).
The victim of yesterday’s crash on the Windyhill Road, between Coleraine and Limavady, has been named locally as Annie McWilliams, from Kilrea.
A death notice states that Ms McWilliams died ‘suddenly as result of road traffic collision’.
Ms McWilliams is the daughter of Philip (Phelim) McWilliams and the late Martina (née McNally).
The death notice states that funeral arrangements will be updated when they become available.
Dozens of tributes have been paid to Ms McWilliams online.
“Absolutely devastated for all the family. Annie was a sweetheart rest in peace beautiful girl,” said one person.
A colleague of the deceased wrote: “I’m totally heartbroken. A beautiful girl in every way, taken far too soon. It’s been a pleasure working with you over the years. Will miss your beautiful shy smile. Thoughts and prayers are with your family., friends and colleagues. RIP Annie.”

Another person added: “Rest in eternal peace beautiful angel, such a lovely young woman who has touched so many lives. Thoughts and prayers are with her own family and her work family, she will be sorely missed.”
