Power outage from Storm Éowyn sees Swatragh Livestock Mart weekend sales cancelled

Saturday's sheep sale at Swatragh Livestock Mart has been cancelled for this week as a result of a power outage in the area.

The impacts of Storm Éowyn, which struck in the early hours of Friday morning, is being felt across the country.
A spokesperson for Swatragh Livestock Mart said:

"Unfortunately, we still have no power in the mart due to today's storm. As a result, tomorrow's (Saturday, January 25) sheep sale has been cancelled.

"We aim to be back up and running as normal by Monday for our cattle sale."
