The season of giving - Local card company launches Christmas collection in aid of Sands
The Derry-based Ferry Clever card company has launched a beautiful collection of Christmas cards to support the work of the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, Sands.
Sands is a charity that operates throughout the UK to support anyone affected by the death of a baby as well as working to improve the care bereaved parents receive, promoting research and working closely with many different organisations to reduce the loss of babies’ lives.

Ferry Clever took to Instagram to share a touching video to promote the seasonal cards, the proceeds of which will go straight to Sands.
Their Instagram post says: "This Christmas, we remember the little ones who should be here, filling homes with laughter and joy. For families who have faced the unbearable pain of losing a baby, the festive season can be an especially difficult reminder of the love they hold but can no longer give."

Ferry Clever continued to say: "We are proud to support the amazing work of @sandscharity, the stillbirth & neonatal death charity, who provide crucial support to families grieving the loss of a baby, offer resources to help navigate this unimaginable pain, and drive research and awareness to prevent future heartbreak. Together, we honor those precious lives and stand with those who miss them every single day."
The local card company shared the video as a dedication to all those sadly affected by the loss of a child. In the video, Derry's very own Lavengro perform an emotional cover of The Book of Love.
The post also includes a message from Stephen and Claire from the team at Sands, thanking Ferry Clever for choosing their charity to support this Christmas.
They say: "Sands are so pleased and thankful to Ferry Clever for this heartfelt video that hopefully offers comfort, understanding and support during what can be a difficult time of year. For further support or guidance please contact us at Sands, the stillbirth & neonatal death charity."
