This festive season, The Richmond Centre is ready to deliver an unforgettable Christmas experience.
From the return of Santa’s Grotto to brand-new children’s attractions, we’re pulling out all the stops to make this year truly magical.
The festivities kick off with the arrival of Santa to his new Grotto on this Saturday (16th November) at 11.00am!
Santa is arriving in style, riding his sparkling sleigh and accompanied by his merry elves and will be accompanied by the vibrant cast of Aladdin, from this year’s highly anticipated Pantomime at The Millennium Forum.
Families can look forward to a day full of wonder and surprises, as Santa settles into his newly designed, enchanting Grotto on Level 1. Children of all ages are invited to bring their wish lists and holiday spirit, ready to experience the magic of Christmas with Santa himself.
Richmond Centre Manager, Bobby Nicholson, expressed his excitement for the season, saying, “I couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome Santa and his team back to the Richmond Centre. There’s nothing like the joy on kids’ faces, and we’re ready to make this the most joyful Christmas ever!”
This year is extra special as we’re celebrating the Richmond Centre’s 40th Anniversary. To mark this milestone, we’re adding even more sparkle, including our first-ever Winter Markets. Featuring a delightful array of local traders, the Winter Markets will offer unique gifts, seasonal treats, and festive cheer for all.
Plus, there will be amazing giveaways and exclusive entertainment throughout the season to make this Christmas truly unforgettable.
For families seeking a quieter experience, Santa’s Grotto will also offer Sensory & Quiet Sessions, thoughtfully designed for children with additional needs. These sessions create a warm, welcoming environment where every child can enjoy the magic of Christmas.
And the excitement doesn’t stop there! Opening this November, Bonkers Soft Play on Level 2 promises endless fun. Kids can explore a city-themed play area with vibrant urban landscapes, roleplay zones, and spaces perfect for parties and birthdays.
