Derry Magistrate's Court
A Donegal man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court charged with attempted sexual communication with a child and two counts of possessing indecent images of a child following a Preliminary Enquiry in Derry Magistrates Court.
Patrick Kelly (36) of Drumcavany in Letterkenny was charged with possession of the images on July 21 2022 and with the attempted communication between February 18 and 25 this year.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Kelly chose not to submit any statements and not to call any witnesses.
He was returned for trial on October 16 and released on bail.
