Derry charity Life After to host 'Party in the Park'

Life After are holding a community event, open to everyone this Saturday, 7th September.

The charity provides vital support to grieving families who have lost a loved one in a road traffic collision.

Life After also fights for change on the roads, safer roads, encouraging safer driving and driver responsibility, and strives to bring change to the justice system for those sentenced as a result of careless driving and driving offences.

The public are invited to come along to St Columb's Park House, from 1.00pm to 3.00pm, to join them for their 'Picnic in the Park'.

Feel free to bring your picnic and join in the family fun activities, while also finding out more about their North West Road Safety Partnership.

Ribbons will be placed on the tree of Remembrance, in memory of  loved ones who have lost their lives due to a road traffic collision.

This is a free event but do bring some cash to enter the fantastic raffle on the day.
