A man in his 20s has been arrested after a late-night collison near Burnfoot left three people in hospital.
The single-vehicle collision occurred at around 9.55pm on Thursday night.
Two men and a woman, all in their 20s, were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of injuries that are believed to be non life-threatening.
Gardaí said the arrested man is being detained at a garda station in Donegal.
The road between Burnfoot and Muff remains closed and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward. Any road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam, and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident, are asked to make footage available to investigating gardaí.
