Emergency services are at the scene of a fire at the former Lisnagelvin Leisure Centre in Derry.

Police are urging people to avoid the area if possible as there may be significant disruption to nearby traffic.

The PSNI said: “Police are currently at the scene of a fire in the Richill Park area of Derry.

“There are no further details at present.”

The site, which opened in 1980, was closed in 2015 and replaced with the Foyle Arena.
