Limavady man accused of driving offences to go on trial

A man has been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on charges of driving with no licence and obstructing police following a Preliminary Enquiry at Derry Magistrates' Court.

Damien Gibbons (50), of Donald's Way in Limavady, was charged with the offences that were said to have occurred on July 23 last year.
It was accepted that there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.
Gibbons chose not to call any witnesses and not to submit any statements.
He was returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on May 7.
