Two firearms have been discovered during a planned search by gardaí in Inishowen.
The find was made on Saturday, July 27 during a planned search of a vacant property in the Burnfoot area.
Gardaí recovered two firearms along with a quantity of ammunition. The firearms and the ammunition will undergo technical and forensic examination, a garda spokesman said.
Enquiries are ongoing and no further information is available at this time, he added.
