The funeral has taken place of retired Derry orthodontist Noel O'Sullivan.
Dr O'Sullivan was found dead at his Culmore Road home last Wednesday.
His remains, which had been laying in the house for a number of days, were discovered by police officers.
When police arrived at the house, they had to force entry to the property and immediately noticed "the odour of human remains".
His son, John Garret O'Sullivan (55), was arrested and charged with attempting to prevent the lawful burial of his father.
A police officer told Derry Magistrates Court they could connect the accused to the charge and opposed bail.

Fr McCaughey said Dr O'Sullivan was "always proud of his work".
"Through this city and further afield, he would say through his work and his profession, he would give people their smiles."
