Derry brothers returned for trial to on attempted GBH charge

Two brothers have been returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on a charge of attempted grievous bodily harm with intent on a man.

Billy Kee (20) and Ben Kee (22) both of Sperrin Park in Derry appeared at a preliminary enquiry at the local Magistrate's Court today.

They were both charged with attempting to cause grievous bodily harm with intent on a man on September 15 2019.

They were also charged with assaulting the same man occasioning him actual bodily harm on the same date.

It was accepted there was a case to answer and there were no contrary submissions.

Neither man wanted to call any witnesses or make any statement at this.

Both brothers were returned for trial to Derry Crown Court on July 5 and released on bail.
