A judge at Derry Crown Court today fixed a date for the trial of a Co. Tyrone man who denies stealing over £23,000 during his time as a director of a Christian literature firm.
The defendant, Colin Glendinning, 50, from Drumlea Road in Cookstown also denies committing other financial offences during his tenure as a director of Scripture Teaching Library Limited.
He denies three charges of fraud by abuse of position by withdrawing £2,755, £11,230 and £9,340 from Scripture Teaching Library Limited. He also denies furnishing the company with false financial information for its annual returns and he additionally denies stealing £23,326 from the company.
The offences are alleged to have taken place on dates between December 30, 2015 and February 1, 2019.
Judge Neil Rafferty KC was told that the trial would take just over one week and he fixed a provisional date of November 11 for the trial.
