Derry Council offices lit up in support of Brain Injury Week

Council offices on Derry’s Strand Road will be Illuminated for Darkness Into Light this Friday

Derry Council Buildings will be illuminated in the colours of Darkness into Light on Friday, May 10 along with five other sites across Northern Ireland, to help raise awareness of the sunrise event and bring hope to those affected by suicide.

Taking place on Saturday, May 11 with walks at 13 locations across Northern Ireland, including Derry, Darkness Into Light is organised by Pieta and proudly supported by Electric Ireland helping to raise much needed funds for local suicide and bereavement support services.

All funds raised for Darkness Into Light in Northern Ireland are in support of Pieta and its 10 partner charities here, including HURT NI in the Derry area, ensuring that those most in need of help have access to the support they need.

There’s still time to sign up for the most important sunrise of the year.
