An Inishowen teenager who has been missing for two weeks has been located safe and well.

Fifteen-year-old Steven Boyle from Magherabeg in Inishowen had last been seen on April 17.

Gardaí in Buncrana launched a nationwide appeal for information that was extended into Northern Ireland as it was believed that he may have travelled to Co Derry.

Gardaí confirmed this Thursday morning that Steven has been located.

“An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance,” a Garda spokesperson said.
