Donegal woman reported missing in Derry is found safe and well

Police in Derry have confirmed a woman from Donegal who was reported as missing has been found safe and well.

The PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland)  had issued an appeal for information on the whereabouts of Anita Robinson, a 26-year-old from Ballybofey, who was missing and last believed to be in the Derry area in the early hours of New Year’s Day.

However, they have since followed up with the news that the woman was found.

“Our previously reported missing person has been located safe and well,” the PSNI said. “We would like to thank the public for their assistance in locating our missing person."
