Derry Magistrate's Court heard today that a full file will be required in a case involving a local man charged with assaulting a female aggravated by domestic abuse.
Michael Duffy (39) of Fern Park in Derry appeared charged with assaulting a female on July 17 with the offence aggravated by domestic abuse.
He is also charged with criminal damage to a phone on the same date and possessing an offensive weapon namely a spanner.
Duffy was further charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent to a different female again on July 17.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that this was a case where a full file would be required and asked for a four week adjournment.
The case was adjourned until September 11.
