A man has appeared at Derry Magistrate's Court today charged with assaulting his father and his brother.
Conor Keenan (21) of Iona Court in Derry appeared charged with assaulting his brother and father with the offences being aggravated by domestic abuse on July 25.
He was also charged with criminal damage to household items on the same date as well as a threat to kill again with the offences aggravated by domestic abuse.
Keenan was also charged with possessing an offensive weapon namely a knife on the same date.
A police officer connected the accused to the charges.
Defence solicitor Paddy MacDermott said that with court approval his client could be released on bail to an address approved by the PSNI.
Keenan was granted bail on condition he does not contact his father or his brother and does not consume alcohol.
He will appear again on August 17.
