The death has taken place of Kathleen McErlain (née Laverty), 87 Loughbeg Road, Toomebridge, April 4, 2026 (suddenly but peacefully) Kathleen RIP, beloved wife of the late Liam, much loved mother of Damian (Michelle), Mark (Alison), Gregory, Fergal (Angela) and Nuala (Sean), and loving sister of Mary (Quigley) Gerard, Bernadette (Trolan), Loretto (O’Neill), Michael, Patricia (Larkin) and the late James, Hugh Walter, and Shelia. Kathleen’s wake will officially begin in her late residence on Tuesday 7th April at 11am. Her remains will leave from there on Wednesday, April  8, at 10.15am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Ballyscullion ( which can be viewed via the church webcam, see link below), burial immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Helen will be reposing in her daughter's home, 5 Iona Park, from 2 pm on Wednesday.  Funeral from there on Friday at 9.30 am for 10 o'clock Requiem Mass in St Eugene's Cathedral.  Interment afterwards in the City cemetery. Family time please from 10 pm to 11 am.

It is with deep sorrow and great sadness that we announce the passing of Francis (Frankie) Clifford, peacefully at home on April 7, 2026.

Late of 24 Rinmore Drive. May he rest in peace.

Loving brother of Mary-Ellen, Tommy, Lily, John, Sally and the late Jimmy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by all of his much loved nieces, nephews, wider family circle and friends.

Frankie’s remains will be reposing at his late home, 24 Rinmore Drive from 2pm this afternoon, Wednesday, April 8. Funeral leaving from there on Friday 10th April at 9:20am for 10am Requiem Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Creggan. Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the City Cemetery.

Kathleen, R.I.P., beloved wife of the late William McKernan, R.I.P., and much-loved mother of Paul, Tony, Jackie, Christine, Stephen, Gerard and the late Paddy. Daughter of the late Henry and Sarah McErlean (Ballymacombs, Bellaghy).
