An overnight attack on a home in Creevagh Heights in Creggan has been condemned by Derry City and Strabane District councillor Emma McGinley (Sinn Féin).
Cllr McGinley said: "Last night, the home of a local family was targeted in the latest of a series of attacks by criminal elements.
"As a result of these attacks, the occupants including young children have been left traumatised and there is a real sense of anger in the local community that those responsible feel they can carry out this violence with impunity," she added.
"Intimidation of anyone in our community is wrong, and this needs to stop now.
"Creggan is a proud community and residents are appalled that their neighbours are being intimidated and attacked in their own homes.
"I would urge anyone with any information on these attacks to bring it forward so that those responsible can be held to account."
