Man (30) arrested in relation to the murder of Wayne Reid released on bail

To date there have been nine people arrested, with one man charged to court and eight persons released on bail

PSNI launch murder investigation following death of man (43) in Co Derry

43-year-old Wayne Reid.

A 30 year-old man arrested by detectives investigating the murder of Wayne Reid in Coleraine on Monday, January 12 has been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.

To date there have been nine people arrested in relation to the murder, with one man charged to court and eight persons released on bail.

Mr Reid, who formerly lived in Scotland, was found dead at a house in Society Court in the Co Derry town.

On Monday, Darrell Joseph Shaw, 33, of no fixed abode, appeared in court charged with murder and was refused bail.
