Limavady Library Knit and Knatter Group donate blankets to North West Cancer Centre

Limavady Library Knit and Knatter Group donate blankets to North West Cancer Centre

Ann Crawford;  Jean Taylor (who received treatment in Sperrin Unit); Phyllis McLaughlin (who received Radiotherapy); Deputy Sister, Saoirse McElhinney and Denise McDonald, Sperrin Unit Manager.

The Western Health and Social Care Trust (Western Trust) gratefully acknowledges a kind donation of a large number of blankets from Limavady Library Knit and Knatter Group to its North West Cancer Centre, Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry.

Two of the ladies, Jean and Phyllis, were patients at North West Cancer Centre and wished to make this donation to say thank you to the staff at the Cancer Centre for the compassionate care and treatment they received.

These beautiful hand knitted blankets will be used for patients comfort whilst receiving treatment.
