Limavady man accused of drugs offences appears before preliminary enquiry

The accused, who is charged with numerous offences, declined to give evidence or call witnesses during the hearing

Three men charged over alleged 'crime spree' from Armagh to County Derry

The hearing was held in Coleraine Courthouse today.

A Limavady man who is accused of numerous drugs offences has appeared before a preliminary enquiry today (Wednesday).

George Brolly (46), of Catherine Street, is accused of possession of a class B drug, namely cannabis, with intent to unlawfully supply.

He is further charged with being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and two counts of possession of class B drugs, namely cannabis and cannabis edibles.

Brolly is also charged with possession of a class C drug, namely Diazepam.

The alleged offences are said to have been committed by Brolly on June 20 2023.

The accused is also charged with being in possession of criminal property between March 1 2020 and June 20 2023.

A further charge of converting criminal property, namely money, between March 1 2023 and June 20 2023 was also read to the accused.

Brolly declined to give evidence or call any witnesses during the short hearing at Limavady Magistrates' Court, which was sitting in Coleraine.

The case was returned to Antrim Crown Court on March 26.
