Saturday March 1: ‘The Moat at the Heart of Glenelly’
This 8km moderate walk takes you to Mullaghcarbathagh, or ‘The Moat,’ offering breathtaking views over Plumbridge and Glenelly Valley.
Starting at Watt’s Barr in Plumbridge at 10am, the walk leads through the scenic countryside and ends in Plumbridge Village.
Sunday March 2: ‘Myths & Stories from the Edge of Time’
Explore the history and tales of the borderlands on this 8km moderate walk from Lettercran, Co. Donegal to Killeter Village, Co. Tyrone.
Passing through Carrickaholten Forest, the route highlights the stories of emigres, market-goers, and smugglers who shaped the region. Registration opens at 10am at the Killeter Heritage Centre.
