Draperstown woman Charlotte Hassan.
A Draperstown woman has been shortlisted for a prestigious award in the National Building & Construction Awards.
Charlotte Hassan, an Assistant Site Manager with Campsie based EHA Group, has been shortlisted in the Apprentice of the Year category.
Charlotte is shortlisted alongside five others for her apprenticeship at EHA which led onto her current role.
A company spokesperson said: “This is a fantastic achievement to be a finalist, competing against other apprentices in Northern Ireland, England, Scotland and Wales.
“Charlotte’s award entry was largely focused upon her contribution to recently completed ‘Park Avenue‘ in Belfast.
“Here Charlotte excelled as she attended both days at university and days on site, helping to manage a £16m project.”
EHA has also been shortlisted for Project of the Year – Park Avenue Belfast and Restoration Project of the Year – Brookfield Mill Belfast in the same National Building and Construction Awards.
The awards finals take place in London in October.
