Two men arrested in connection with £1.9m drugs seizure in Castledawson charged to court

The men, aged 25 and 53, have been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a class B drug with intent to supply

Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Organised Crime Branch have charged two men to appear at Omagh Magistrates Court tomorrow (Saturday, May 11) following the seizure of class A and class B drugs with a value of approximately £1.9 million in the Castledawson area on Thursday.

The men, aged 25 and 53, have been charged with being concerned in the supply of a class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a class B drug, possession of a class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a class B drug with intent to supply.

As is normal procedure all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
