Dungiven Mother’s Day vigil for Palestine
A group of women in Dungiven have come together to organise an “impactful” Mother’s Day Vigil in solidarity with the mothers in Palestine.
The event will take place on International Women’s Day (March 8, 2024), from 4.30pm to 5.30pm..
Mothers in the local community are being asked to wear white sheets over their clothes, to stand on the new roundabout on the Belfast side of Dungiven. There will be stewards on site to escort participants safely on and off the roundabout.
Everyone taking part in the Mother’s Day Vigil for Palestine will meet at the Green, Abbeyfields in Dungiven at 4.15pm. All of the ladies clubs have been asked to support the Vigil.
