The big-hearted Gaels of Na Magha hurling and camogie club has made cheque presentations to its three designated charities.
Speaking to Derry Now, the club’s fundraising officer, Gearalt Ó Mianáin said he was delighted Na Magha had been able to help “three brilliant charities” Macmillian, Claude’s Cafe’s Christmas dinners and Saint Vincent De Paul.
Gearalt added: “Na Magha is a family based club and it is so important to us to be able to help our own community.
“This past year the club has donated a total of £1800 to our three charities and I would like to sincerely thank every single person who helped us fundraise or made a donation.”
