Popular Derry food spot, Get Fed, is set to expand next week as they open up next door in bigger premises.
Situated on Derry's Carlisle Road, the busy takeaway will now have a seating area with more tasty options for customers old and new to enjoy.
Even though they are only moving next door, owner Lisa said, this was perfect as they didn't want to lose the location of the current shopfront, "It was always in the future plan to expand," Lisa told Derry News.
"We wanted more space and a seating area. It means people can have a wee chat or a sit down away from work or just some time to chill.
"You always wonder when is the right time and worry sets in with the cost of everything at the moment.
"But, when Shake and Frappe sadly closed and it was mentioned to us to take on the premises, I thought, 'Why not, sink or swim, it's a great new challenge."
Get Fed currently sells a wide range of breakfast and lunchtime items with the menu set to have even more options with the larger space.
Lisa also hopes to open a hot deli and salad bar in the new premises come the summer time.
Lisa said that everyone in the local area, including Lisa and the team, is "buzzing" for the expansion, "Derry is so good at supporting small businesses. It helps settle the nerves when you make decisions like this to expand," she said.
"All going well, we will be on Tuesday [February 7] and we can't wait. It's all really exciting."
You can stop in to Get Fed at 1 Carlisle Road in Derry.
