Brian Tierney (SDLP)
First elected onto Derry City and Strabane District Council in 2014 in the Ballyarnett ward, Brian Tierney was returned in the 2019 election with an increased vote.
He served as Mayor for the area in 2020-21 and has been a member of the district's Police Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) since 2014.
This will be the keen Derry City fan's first foray into Assembly electoral politics as he prepares to stand in Foyle alongside two SDLP colleagues.
