The death has taken place of the late Dorothy Crooks (neè Arrell), September 4 2025. (peacefully) at her home, 50 Ballinacross Road, Knockloughrim, (in her 94th year), dearly beloved Wife of the late John, much loved Mother of Karen, Sonia (Alan) and Wendy (Gary), adored Grandmother of Nicole, Kathryn, Zara, Kaitlyn, Ciara, Sophie and Callum and dearest Sister of Robin, Ena, Margaret and the late Muriel, Mary, Wilma, Annie, Elizabeth, Belle, James, John and Tommy. House strictly private. All welcome at D. Watters Funeral Home, Tobermore on Saturday evening (September 6) from 6:30pm - 8:30pm. A Service of Thanksgiving for Dorothy’s Life will take place in Knockloughrim Presbyterian Church on Sunday, September 7 at 2:30pm, followed by burial in the adjoining Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Knockloughrim Presbyterian Church can be made online or payable to D Watters (Donations A/c), 55 Main Street, Tobermore Magherafelt BT45 5PP. “God took you in his loving arms. Isobel Kennedy (née Ross), Westbourne Crescent, Coleraine

The death has occurred of the late Isobel Kennedy (née Ross), September 4 2025, peacefully at Antrim Area Hospital, late of Westbourne Crescent, Coleraine. Dearly beloved wife of the late Robert James (Roy) and a cherished sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, cousin and friend to many. Service of Thanksgiving in First Coleraine Presbyterian Church on Sunday at 2.00pm, followed by internment in Killowen Parish Churchyard. Lovingly remembered by all her family and friends. “The Lord Is My Shepherd.”

Christine McIvor (née McCann), 455 Barnailt Road, Claudy

We regret to inform you that the death has taken place of Christine McIvor (née McCann), suddenly but peacefully, at The City Hospital, Belfast on September 3 2025. May she rest in peace. Late of 455 Barnailt Road, Claudy, Co Derry. Beloved wife of Liam. Loving mother of Liam Jnr (Bethany) Aaron (Catherine) and Cailléne (Ryan). Daughter of the late George and Frances R.I.P and dear sister of Frank, George, Sean, Min, Ciaran, Julie and the late Michael and Paul R.I.P. Fond daughter in law of Marian and John. Deeply regretted by the entire family circle. Reposing at her late home. Funeral from her late home on Saturday, September 6 leaving at 9.15am for 10.00am Requiem Mass in Saint Patrick‘s Church, Claudy. Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. It is with deep regret and sorrow we announce the passing of Susan McNicholl (née O’Kane), September 4 2025, Peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family (Glenullin and formerly Gorteade Swatragh), beloved wife of the late Seamus and loving mother of Seamus, Anne, Mairead, Patrick and Martin and much loved Grandmother of Seamus and Fiona and Great Grandmother of Nova and Dwayne Junior. Daughter of the late Dan and Annie O’Kane and dear sister of the late Mary, Bella, Alice, Peggy, James, Pat, Archie and Danny. N.B Susan’s wake will commence on Saturday at 11.00am. Funeral from her late residence, 4 Hillside Road (Chapel Lane) on Sunday at 10.45am (Travelling via Lisnascreaghog Road/Glen Road) for 11.30am Requiem Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Glenullin. Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Saint Teresa of Calcutta and St. Pio pray for her. Deeply regretted by the entire McNicholl and O’Kane family circle. Family flowers only please.
