Mark Durkan (SDLP)
SDLP MLA Mark Durkan could almost be classed as a veteran campaigner, having served as an MLA since his election in 2011 with the third highest number of first preference votes.
Prior to that, he had spent six years representing the Northland DEA on the legacy Derry City Council, after being elected in 2005.
Durkan polled fourth for first preferences at the 2017 Assembly election, before being narrowly pipped by Elisha McCallion at the Westminster election in the same year.
