ELECTION 23: Sinn Féin and DUP candidates win first two seats in Limavady ward

Brenda Chivers has won the first of five seats up for grabs.

Sinn Féin and the DUP have secured the first two seats on the Limavady ward.

Brenda Chivers (Sinn Féin) has won a seat after receiving 1,800 first preference votes in the first stage of the count.

Stephen Callaghan (DUP) has secured the second seat with 1,010 first preference votes.

The quota was set at 1,006.

There are three seats remaining in this ward.
