A Derry-based support group for women has launched a new website.

Derry Well Women has a new digital presence to raise awareness of the work that the group is involved in.

The website will also highlight all the services they group offers.

Centre manager Susan Gibson said they were delighted with the new website.

"Over all those years, we've kept pace with the changing health needs of women. Now we're keeping pace with the way in which information is accessed online - so that more women understand what we do and how we can help them in their lives,” she said.

"We will be updating our site regularly with news and course or programme details, and using social media as well to ensure the widest number of women can access information about all our services.

“Our sevices cover areas as diverse as cancer, mental health, and fitness, to parenting, breastfeeding support, miscarriage and menopause. Our approach is holistic - based on meeting women's physical, mental and emotional needs, with the help of our health, well-being and social care experts.

“We deliver our services via clinics, programmes, courses, classes, support groups and counselling and other one-to-one services."

The new website is accessible at www.derrywellwoman.org.
