Derry City FC Chairman, Philip O’Doherty, has confirmed that all of the club’s new signings will attend next Wednesday (February 4) evening’s Fans Forum at Brunswick Moviebowl, which starts at 7.00pm.

The Fans Forum has become an annual event over the last number of years and the club’s Board feels that pre-season is now the ideal time to stage the event.

“We’ve made substantial signings over the past few months and this is an opportunity that I hope our fans will use to meet the new recruits in person” said the Chairman.

“An awful lot of hard work has taken place- both on the field and off- since the end of last season and it’s important for fans to get a feel for that.

“The club relies on supporters to really get behind the team week on week, and that will be more important than ever this season as we look to build on previous years.

“As you may have seen recently, we have now been given approval to commence work on relaying the surface at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.

“Our priority now is to work out the logistics of delivering this project and as promised we will continue to keep supporters updated in due course.”
