Templemore Sports Complex to host Sean Davis 'Christmas Fun Soccer Bonanza' Academy

Easter sees return of Sean Davis Fun Soccer Academy to Derry

Due to popular demand, the Sean Davis 2 Day 'Christmas Fun Soccer Bonanza' Academy is set to take place at the Templemore Sports Complex Indoor Hall on Monday, December 29, and Tuesday, December 30, 2025.

The Academy invites boys and girls aged 5-18 years old to join and learn professional soccer techniques designed to enhance skills in dribbling, shooting, heading, passing, and control through specialised fun coaching. Participants will have the chance to emulate world-class players like Messi, Neymar, and Ronaldo.

The course features numerous mini-soccer competitions, including the "World Cup," "Premier League," and "Champions League," along with popular challenges like the Strikers Shoot-Out and Penalty King and Queen Competitions. Hundreds of prizes, including boot-bags, trophies, and medals, are available to be won.

The coaching staff includes experienced IFA and European B Licence holders Bernie Rutherford, Connor Hasson, and Mark Canning. The course is coordinated by Sean Davis, a former professional player for Manchester United, Middlesbrough, Torquay United, and Sligo Rovers, who holds the prestigious European "A" Coaching Licence.

Registration is at 10:00am on Monday, December 29. The course runs until 3:00pm each day, with lunch from 12:30pm to 1:00pm. In addition to expert coaching, all participants will receive a Free Soccer Achievement Certificate and daily refreshments.

The cost of the two-day course is £40, payable on the morning of the course.
