County Derry's Fionn McLaughlin was officially presented with his coveted Wera Tools British F4 champion’s trophy at the prestigious 2025 TOCA Awards ceremony, held at Silverstone Circuit on Saturday evening.

The 17-year-old racing sensation from Magherafelt took center stage to celebrate his dominant season and receive the top accolade in the UK’s premier single-seater championship.

The event celebrated the successes of all award winners across the British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) and its support series on the TOCA package. McLaughlin joined an esteemed list of champions on stage, including the 2025 BTCC champion Tom Ingram.

McLaughlin was accompanied by a supportive group of family and team personnel for the momentous occasion, including his parents, Martin and Fionnuala. Also present were Dominic Stott and Matt Greasley representing his team, Hitech TGR; British F4 staff members Eve Lake-Grange, Flora Scott, and Colin Clark, and Ben Holden and Nick Ashley on behalf of title sponsors Wera Tools.

Reflecting on his championship victory and the evening’s events, McLaughlin expressed his gratitude: “I’m grateful to be here tonight and excited for the future and what it holds.
