Derry City travel to play Treaty in FAI Cup Second Round

Derry City FC will begin their 2025 Sports Direct Men’s FAI Cup campaign with a away tie against Limerick side Treaty United, following today’s second-round draw in Dublin.

The Candystripes, who have won the competition six times, were runners-up in last November's showpiece.

Tiernan Lynch's charges will look to take the first step towards another cup run when they face Treaty United who currently sit in fourth place in the League of Ireland First Division.

The tie is scheduled for the weekending 20th July, with details to be confirmed. Dundalk will be hoping to rekindle some of their famous FAI Cup form, having last lifted the trophy in 2020.
