Clubs throughout the League of Ireland have announced their season ticket prices for 2025, with Derry City’s being the most expensive.

The Candystripes are charging fans £285 for next year’s season ticket, which is €341.

Only one other club has announced season tickets that are over €300, with that being the newly promoted Cork City.

The Rebel Army are charging new season ticket holders €315, while season ticket renewals for fans will cost €270.

League of Ireland champions Shelbourne have the third most expensive season ticket for 2025, with St. Patrick’s Athletic and Waterford charging the fans the same price, €300.

However, for Shelbourne fans wishing to renew their ticket, it would cost them €275, with the same price for early bird Waterford fans.

The cheapest season ticket announced at the time of writing is Galway City, as Drogheda United have yet to announce their prices.

Fans will need to pay €250 to hold a 2025 season ticket for the Tribesmen, with fans renewing the ticket only needing to pay €240.

Bohemians have only released prices for the Des Kelly stand, with fans asked to pay €256 to soak up the football at Dalymount, making it the second cheapest season ticket in the league.

The Gypsies main rivals, Shamrock Rovers, are asking fans to pay €260 for a season ticket, which means they are the seventh most expensive in the league; however, fans who are renewing their season ticket are paying €235.

Meanwhile, the sixth most expensive season ticket in the League of Ireland for 2025 is €290 from Sligo Rovers.

As mentioned the FAI Cup champions Drogheda United have yet to announce their season ticket prices for 2025, but unless they announce a 37% increase to last season's €250 then it will still be cheaper than the price of a season ticket at Derry City.

Fans that pay for the Derry City season ticket next year will be entering the unknown, as after over three years under the tenure of Ruaidhrí Higgins, the club appointed former Larne boss Tiernan Lynch as their new manager, with the Belfast native set to lead Derry into the 2025 season.

Derry City have been asked for comment.
